Late comedian Bob Monkhouse is to feature in television advertisements about the disease which killed him as part of a prostate awareness campaign.

I think it's fantastic. Haunting and gets the message across. The ending really gets me.

I found it creepy but fantastic. It has certainly got people talking which I guess was the point. Bob was fantastic... RIP

My grandpa had prostate cancer. They were able to control it for a while with radiation and pills, but eventually it moved into his bones. It was so painful! He ultimately ended up dying from pneumonia, but the effects of the cancer were hard to watch as they took their toll. I hope the campaign is successful.

Everything helps. And it'll generate the sort of buzz that helps immensely with these sorts of campaigns. It's good to see that he kept his sense of humour right up until the end.
