Hey everyone, I have several PCs in my house, and my Mac. I was messing around with one of the windows PCs, and found that when I shut down the firewall, all network shares would show in finder, and I'd be able to access them. The second I brought the firewall back up, it stopped working again. Now, I don't want to leave ZoneAlarm down the entire time, does anyone know what services/programs I have to allow to make it work?

Thanks,
Max

Zone Alarm is somewhat of a firewall nazi. I had to get rid of it at work because it would not allow for even NFS logins. I would try McAfee.

I can certainly see that now! I know that I can enable a certain port/program to let traffic through for sharing with mac. I believe this may be what caused all the people to not see their pcs in finder.
