I want to buy a 15"macbook pro anti glare and therefore will have to have hi-res.
I have read & re-read all the posts on hi-res and have concerns about small text and how zoom works.
I found a css* solution to set zoom in safai which sets the initial display each time it loads and seems solve some irritations about zoom I have read.
Are there any drawbacks to this?
My apple store does not have a 15" hi res in. I have a (windows)1280 display which to my simple maths looks to be 25% larger than 1680?
Can I replicate what the hi res text looks like on my 1280 15" by zooming out at 75%?
Thanks
Lawrie
