Hi,
I am inclined to get a Zoom H2 recorder. A while ago, I was told Zoom would update their audio recorders. The H2n is available now. For the near future I see that my needs would be served with the H2, however, I wouldn't mind to spend the extra buck if the H2n would be more useful in the long-run. A disadvantage of the H2 is that it apparently picks up a lot of background noise, (hiss). Perhaps the H2n has the same disadvantage. Apparently, both of them have a good enough recordings' quality. My problem, is that with audio I am a bit of a newbie and I wonder if some things will ever be useful to me like: 5 Integrated Microphones (?), Steinberg WaveLab LE 7 Included (??). The H2n is twice as expensive as the regular H2.
My uses with any of these recorders would be:
a)I would like to record interviews.
b)I would like to record conversations. I am living abroad and I can't pick up everything is being said while in a conversation or lecture.
c)I would like to record lectures, I am a grad student.
d)I would like to do/take part in doing documentaries and/or short films. I think it would be good to have one of these to record the interviews and/or the dialogues during filming.
Thank you in advance, kind regards,
igmolinav : ) !!!
