Zoom with mouse in Excel?

Forgive the newbie question, please, but I have a client who has switched from Windows to a PowerBook. He uses very large spreadsheets a lot, and was used to being able to program his mouse to zoom in/out of the spreadsheets. Is there a way of doing this with his PowerBook and Excel 2004?

I'm trying to download IntelliPoint for Mac to see if it allows for programming this. I am also looking at the Mighty Mouse information. Any other suggestions?
