So is one issue with the 6+ camera having the monet effect the fact that when you zoom in on a subject, that the camera cuts off the sensor area to achieve the zoom?

I looked at pictures through iPhoto on my Mac and noticed that a fully zoomed in picture had a file size of 1.2MB, while a photo not zoomed in at all had a file size of 3.4MB. Both pictures read 3264x2448.

This is outdoors at the Browns game Sunday in very decent light with some shadows here and there in the background. Field level.

Since there is no optical zoom on these cameras, cropping after you take the picture or zooming before will yield the same results-poor quality. The 6 6+ aleady suffer from camera issues, zooming makes them very evident.
