Working on a project in FCP5 and the application works fine until I zoom in to a certain percentage, then every time I even move the mouse I get the spinning beach ball of death. Any ideas?

Yes I am. I have adjusted all my specs to where they should be, even putting my RT to safe and making quality of playback lower. My external HD which the project is on is about 65% full with 14 g's left. I am switching to a HD that has more room, think that might do it?

When you view your video, make sure it's set to "FIT TO WINDOW", if you play it back when it is zoomed in, it will stutter and give you the spins..

What are the specs of your computer?

Your hard drive is fine, when it gets 80-90 percent full, you'll have a performance hit...
