OS X ZXSP/FUSE Emulators ?

I use ZXSP & FUSE on my Mac for Spectrum emulation.

How do I use input POKEs on those two emulators ?

ZXSP does not have an option to do this.

FUSE has a POKEs/cheat option but I cannot see a way to enter anything into it.

Am I right in thinking that you just enter the POKEs as you would on a real Spectrum then load the game file ?

At least I can now use POKEs in FUSE.
