there are still people who think that the only way to get music on a Mac/iPhone/iPod is to buy it from iTunes. there is a lot of ignorance out there. its sad and discouraging, especially since its quite easy to find out the real answers so easily.

I am enjoying my very 1st Mac & a quick Google search showed me that there is indeed more than one way to get apps. I like MAS but always check the developer site to see if the app is offered there & if it had to have functions removed to be put into MAS.

No ignorance here, I love having options

Laziness or simply economics? Are there enough mac users willing to buy games to justify the development of a game without using Cider?

it is a double edge sword. Maybe if the games were available people would look at a mac as a viable gaming alternative. Giving apple reason to bring a gaming tower option to the line-up.
