I got tomtoc for my 15" laptop and it's pecfect fit , you can try it~ View attachment 672907

I received mine yesterday, same day as my 15" tMBP.

Couple things -

1) not a perfect fit. It's too big. I'm used to the incase sleeves, which are snug. With the tomtoc my tmbp floats around a bit. It looks to me like this is just the bag for the old MBP repurposed (I definitely ordered the one for the new tmbp)

2) padding is very thick, which adds a lot of bulk. This could be a good thing if that's what you are looking for. In my case I keep the sleeve in a padded messenger bag, so I only need a thin sleeve for scratch-prevention. (note: but bubbles are soft)

3) liner is soft, but not microfiber or fleece.

I am going to use my old incase for now. Softer inside, and less bulky even though it's for the old, bigger, MBP.

I might buy this today too. How snug is it? Seems like you like it a good amount? Can the charger and cords go in the front?

yeah, but it dosen't look good as the charger is bigger, I usually put my ipad and phone in the front

It's fit for my 2015 MBP and the new MBP is smaller, I like the padding that will well protect my laptop~

How soft is the material? Microfiber? Fleece?

Has there been any cases which have been confirmed as definitely being designed for the new MacBook 13" dimensions, and not one to cover both the old and the new? Preferably either padded, or leather if not padded.

I've done a bunch of research on the seemingly thousands of small sleve-style cases available on Amazon, looking at all the internal dimensions available.

Here are a few that should fit the new 13" MacBook well (i.e.: they have internal dimensions very close to the actual dimensions of the 2016 13" rMBP: 11.97" W x 8.36" H x .59" D)

Appreciate the research. Wonder if we have any more sleeves out there, bar the CushCase one already posted here.

Ended up purchasing this from Amazon. I'm a fan of hard shell cases to protect against dents - I dented the corner of my last MBP when I dropped it not wearing a case.
Exactly the same thing happened to me. I very much like a pristine looking MBP. Some people basically carry their laptops from table to table. But I often use it on the couch, in a lazy chair etc. and just one slip will earn you an ugly dent.

Ordered that exact same case. Including delivery it's 30 euros, while a Speck case goes for 50. Curious if it's decent quality.

We'll see. If the quality is crappy most Amazon sellers are willing to process a refund, and if they aren't then Amazon will.

Did anyone find a clear wrap for the 13 inch without touch bar?

Also, for any of you that ordered the hard-case? Do you recommend it?

Should I get a keyboard cover?

Thanks

Just got this case today for my 13" tbMBP. I think it was made for 12" laptops and the big iPad Pro but it fits pretty well.
