Doubt it. Apple hasn't really shown off that much of the new OS.

If all that Lion has over Snow Leopard is what they showed at the Back to the Mac event, then Apple is just phoning it in then.

Yes I know there's OpenGL 3.3 (or 3.2, can't remember off the top of my head) but there's no really big feature.

Stuff like Quartz Extreme, Expose, and Time Machine are big deals. Snow Leopard didn't really do much in terms of new features. Hopefully Apple has something up their sleeve for Lion.

lion will get all features of iOS or in other words iOS and snow leopard are merged together into iOSX Lion , and thats the reason why they now offer the trackpad option as no Mac has a touchscreen , but that would be needed to get all the benefits of the Lion features , but the trackpad is a alternative instead of a touchscreen

What does this have to do with iMacs, specifically?

Look at the first post again and see why.
The OP is either drunk or not able to properly read and write, thus maybe the confusion. And as there are many sub fora on MR, maybe this was the best place for the OP, though s/he posted a similar topic in this very sub forum not long ago.
Maybe it is a SPAM attack?

I think they are following in the footsteps of the Commodore 64 re-release and going retro.
