Now while changing the brightness from CC the background shows its actual color (don't know if I explained that well).

Meaning the the app behind cc is no longer dimmed, giving you an actual representation of the brightness change.

This is huge. Major flaw of ios7--so happy it's corrected in 8!

Now able to delete individual browsing history in Safari.

If I remember it right, it's not possible previously.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Is there a Forward Option in Notes?
Do the controls in Control Center still play from last audio source?
And does Weather in Notification Center still giving vague descriptions?
Or messages/alerts disappearing from Notification Center?
Photos app still a mess?
Selecting/modifying a URL in Safari still a pain in the ass?

Considering nobody replied to this I'm assuming they're all still present.

As someone who uses several different language keyboards, it bugs me that in iOS 7 and earlier, the globe icon is in different places for certain keyboards.

English and Chinese have it second from the left, after the numbers/symbols key:

While Japanese and Emoji have it in the left corner:

If anyone notices that Apple have made these consistent, that will be another keyboard-related win for me in iOS 8. Not holding my breath, but would be great to see this show up as a 'little thing' in this thread. Can anyone check?

Sorry if this was there before, but I don't think this has been posted. Battery percentage is now turned on by default.

Sucks... Thanks for checking. My other keyboard gripe is that the dictation button needs to activate after pressing and holding for a moment, rather than just a tap, in order to prevent accidental activation. Don't suppose that has changed?

You know, you can shake your phone once you realize you've deleted a message, and undo the action which would put the deleted message back where it was. Cheers

Hahaha -- thanks! Seriously...I can't believe I'm just learning that now!

And I figured out my swipe issue: if I flick from very right edge, it works fine. It's when I start a little in from the edge and drag across rather than flick that it was sketchy. But now at least I know how to undo it!

Wow... I didn't know that either.. I thought it just worked for typing undo... Thanks... :)

Seems pretty instant(single tap) to me to be honest. Don't remember needed to hold it before tho

Is it worth the $99 become a developer to get iOS 8? I don't want to develop any app I just want iOS 8.

Now when you are on a phone call, you can exit the phone app and then clicking on the phone app icon it will allow you to visit the phone app and see your favorites/recents/etc instead of just returning you to the in-call screen. If you want to go to the in-call screen then you tap the green bar at the top of the screen. This is huge! Now you can look up recent calls while on a phone call.

New translucent lines that separate .. In ios 7 they were just grey

Ew, it really bugs me that the Slideshow, AirPlay and More icons are outlined but the Copy, Print and Assign to Contact are not. Talk about inconsistency!
