Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

9/23 Delivery Reiterated by UPS

I have the 12:25 departure scan from Korea and UPS just sent me an update for my package confirming delivery for tomorrow in New Jersey!

For me..being so consumed about this order, I totally forgot I have a damn doctors appt at 3pm on Wednesday and can't cancel it or I'll be waiting another 6 weeks for that nonsense. Of all the freggin days..so now I just hope UPS comes before 2:45pm. If I miss it, well the hub is about 17 miles from me..I'll just battle traffic and hopefully I can pick it up before it closes at 7 or 7:30.

Is presigning for your phone an option? If you live in a relatively safe area, I would recommend signing that form that authorizes UPS to leave it wherever you choose at your house, or even a neighbor if you so choose :)
 
Any of the 7:10 bunch still in Incheon?

I think my phone fell off the pallet! I am still stuck in Incheon. Anyone still with me?

They won't leave iPhones with a neighbor, but safest would likely be the UPS hold for pickup if not available to sign.

You could have UPS hold your package for Will Call Pickup at the hub (Customer Center, don't pick a UPS Store or you're package might be pushed back a day). I had a 6 Plus delivered on 9/19, and I had UPS hold it at the Customer Center. I picked up my package at 8:00 am on the 19th. You can sign up online for UPS MyChoice for free, and make the request online through the MyChoice option. There were only about 10 people in line when UPS opened the gate, and all of the customers were there to get iPhones.

Feeling a little hesitant now - or paranoid. The neighborhood is fine. I'm friends with both my neighbors - but they won't be home..but the people across the street. They are an odd bunch of wierdos, very nosey too. Also a high school bus stop - teens walking by my home. If I have this white signed paper attached to my door..I don't know what to think.

I came this far, the last thing I need is have this thing stolen. By signing and giving this paper I now claim "Apple is not responsible for stolen items (broken, etc)" Forget it, either Im here or I'll drive the 15 miles to the hub that night.

They likely won't have it at the hub for you to pickup unless you request they hold it. It will be on a truck still by the time the hub closes.

I did sign up for MyChoice last night..thats an option too. Thanks. Didnt realize I had all these options. First pre-order anxiety. But..Wednesday...the day, more like TIME that UPS usually shows up and I WONT be here..of all the days.

Will call pickup is the safest option... I'm too scared to even trust them to deliver to my parents' house 3 doors down. lol
