Just out of curiosity, is there another UPS flight that also left Incheon around 12:25am?

I also have 2 departures?

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/23/2014 12:25 A.M. Departure Scan
Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/22/2014 11:33 P.M. Departure Scan

Only the Osaka flight going to continue to Chicago. The other two are heading to Louisville.

Same thing though they'll all be delivered tomorrow or latest Wednesday.

I wish mine would be delivered on Wednesday, but no chance of that I think since it is still showing sep 25 thursday delivery date.

Me too; might they be breaking pallets down and scanning devices individually in preparation for customs? I really have no idea how this stuff works; maybe one of our more logistically-minded friends can enlighten us.

Anyone who got the 6 plus 128gb SG, consider yourself super lucky. My order is suppose to come Oct. 2nd but after talking with 2 managers at att on the phone and being put up to another level I was told that date is going to be pushed back even further. Thinking about cancelling my order and just holding onto my 5s for another year or two. This process has really put a sour taste in my mouth as far as apple/att goes.

No idea how, UPS is a 24/7 business. I know some that called and the Apple rep put "Expedited" on the shipment - then told not too. I did read shipments were stuck in ZhengZhou and Alaska for some kind of import check..not sure, I have to go back pages and pages to see what the deal was. Seriously I have no idea.

For me..being so consumed about this order, I totally forgot I have a damn doctors appt at 3pm on Wednesday and can't cancel it or I'll be waiting another 6 weeks for that nonsense. Of all the freggin days..so now I just hope UPS comes before 2:45pm. If I miss it, well the hub is about 17 miles from me..I'll just battle traffic and hopefully I can pick it up before it closes at 7 or 7:30.

My order gave me the option to pre-sign for the delivery. Can you do that, too?

What he said was true - Apple committed to having you your phone from 1 Oct thru 6 Oct. If it doesn't arrive by the 6'th, then you have a reason to complain.

People don't understand the logistics and shipping processes at ALL. I work for a very large package delivery company, and people honestly think we pick up their product and the same guy drives it all the way across the country to it's destination...

UPS does not have the extra capacity to pick up the sheer number of packages coming out of China. They just don't. I can almost assure you they are tendering a lot of these packages to other carriers and airlines to get them TO their US sortation system -- we already KNOW this because of the Air China pictures we saw last week with the captain posing with the skids of iPhones...

Once they're in the US, it will be easier for UPS to move the packages in an expedited fashion.

There's only so much capacity coming out of China - it's a bottle neck.. that's why they're routing them through different cities - to spread the volume out!

You'll get your phone by the 6'th - just be patient and stop refreshing the tracking screen every 5 minutes...

Part of the issue is at some point, you are going to start putting pressure on other people's deadlines.... in my case, a deadline to get an old phone to gazelle or another reseller.. and then there are people that have to arrange their whole day around the local UPS deliveryperson (mine is going to my work, fortunately they allow that... my supervisor doesn't like it, but it is allowed.)..... so yeah, people are getting cranky...

Im in North Carolina, still have 9/23 date:

So yours is suppose to be delivered by tomorrow but you are on the same plane as me, while I have a Thursday Delivery date that has not been changed. Of course you are on the east coast while I am on West coast.

Usually what happens in my case when it arrives in Kentucky it then flys to California first (not Las Vegas where I live) to a hub there, then it is usually delivered the next day from Califorinia. So I don't see mine coming any sooner than Thursday. Unless someone out there knows something I don't.

Hmmm...someone in Lake Mary, Florida has been trying to log in to my MacRumors account...naughty naughty.

They are just super curious as to where your new phone is. The whole world is on the edge of their seats because of this thread. :p

So this is interesting (to me):

I'm on 105 which is going to Chicago after Anchorage.

But I'm in FL which is usually serviced by the Louisville hub I think.

So... will the phones get transferred in Anchorage?
Or will they fly to Chicago and then take another flight to Louisville, and THEN Orlando?

Or fly on to Orlando from Chicago directly?

So many exciting options in travel.

Pretty sure we all do. Probably just a dumb artifact of the tracking system, or perhaps UPS is re-scanning in flight to double check cargo? No idea. 11:33 is about the time the plane pushed back from the gate.

Mine has departed Japan. Going to arrive tomorrow? We'll see. Cleveland OHIO!

Is it safe to say the phones coming from China were ordered through Apple and:
Phones that were ordered through ATT are coming (at least UPS or FED ex wise) from Tex?

Other words, What determines if you get your first tracking number for china flight vs Tex flight? (or anywhere else in the States for that matter)?

Interesting, I have a Wednesday delivery date for mine and I live in Vegas myself. I am thinking we are getting delayed from the original Monday dates we had since we are going into Chicago and then they have to transfer the cargo to Louisville to get it to us on the west coast. Louisville has a direct flight to Vegas daily (gets in about 5 am).
