Apple Store (UK) Black Friday Sale

They have already lost 5% of the day with the store being closed with their sheer incompetence.
 
There goes 6%.

Guess this is why they changed the "we will be back within the hour" to "we'll be back" soon for normal store down times because they can't keep to deadlines.

Edit: It is getting so late it looks like they will bring it back at the next hour.

Looks like the education discount that I got them to apply on a Mac Pro some months back hoses this discount anyway.

I knew my card would stay in my wallet tomorrow.

Will order my iPhone later with the voucher but no additional discount.

My university discount blows this out of the water any day of the week :)

Very lame. Was hoping for a discount on a Mac mini or Apple TV. Meh.

Thanks, I noticed that the other day but I think I'd go for the 160GB version or get myself a mac mini as I've got well over 200GB of EyeTV content clogging up my iMac at the moment! The refurbed minis are looking more tempting now...

Yeah I know but even my MBP purchase wasn't anything close to that. Ahh well, I only have to pay 12% (or whatever it is) anyway!

Good point there!

Sorry if I got everyone's hopes up. I rested by beliefs in an email I got as an Apple affiliate at about 11:30pm. It clearly stated there would be discounts on iPods, iPhone, iMacs and MacBooks....

My sensible head told me it was too good to be true. They would never discount the iPhone when they didn't do it in the US on Black Friday.

I got the V-Moda iPhone Headset. If it wasn't for the discount (£72+ down to £59.29), mostly favourable reviews and the fact that wearing a white iphone headset makes you that much more vulnerable to theft in South London.....i don't think i'd be able to swallow the price but i value my life and my iPhone.

My HE discount blows everything else but no HE discount on the V-Moda so....
