They have already lost 5% of the day with the store being closed with their sheer incompetence.

There goes 6%.

Guess this is why they changed the "we will be back within the hour" to "we'll be back" soon for normal store down times because they can't keep to deadlines.

Edit: It is getting so late it looks like they will bring it back at the next hour.

It is now back up, some prices are given below:

Macbook £668 (£699)
iMac £768 (£799)
iPod Nano £92 (£99)
iPod Classic £148 (£159)
AirPort Express Base Station with AirTunes £58 (£65)
iWork/iLife £48 (£55)
VMware Fusion £38 (£49.95)
Canon HG10 HD HDD Camcorder £718 (£799)
JBL On Time Speakers for iPod £94 (£149.95)

No iPhone or Touch discounts.

Looks like the education discount that I got them to apply on a Mac Pro some months back hoses this discount anyway.

I knew my card would stay in my wallet tomorrow.

Very disappointing.

Will order my iPhone later with the voucher but no additional discount.

Ha... £31 off an iMac or a MacBook, and £6 or £7 off software. Pathetic

My university discount blows this out of the water any day of the week :)

Yup. I thought I would be interested in this, but it sucks.

Very disappointing.

Do the discount apply to Apple stores?

Yeh, they apply in store. Not worth it in my opinion.

No iPhone discounts either...

Oh well!

P.S. Davidjearly - might want to update your sig ;)

Very lame. Was hoping for a discount on a Mac mini or Apple TV. Meh.

They have a refurb Apple TV 40GB at £40 off in the UK refurb store if thats any good to you.

Thanks, I noticed that the other day but I think I'd go for the 160GB version or get myself a mac mini as I've got well over 200GB of EyeTV content clogging up my iMac at the moment! The refurbed minis are looking more tempting now...

Why are you even chiming in on this thread you clueless muppet. We pay near 18% tax on anything, it could turn out being a pretty significant thing to point out you were wrong saying FREE
Some of us get to claim that back ;)

Depends how much you spend. Anything over £2000 and you still can.

Yeah I know but even my MBP purchase wasn't anything close to that. Ahh well, I only have to pay 12% (or whatever it is) anyway!

Good point there!

Sorry if I got everyone's hopes up. I rested by beliefs in an email I got as an Apple affiliate at about 11:30pm. It clearly stated there would be discounts on iPods, iPhone, iMacs and MacBooks....

My sensible head told me it was too good to be true. They would never discount the iPhone when they didn't do it in the US on Black Friday.

I got the V-Moda iPhone Headset. If it wasn't for the discount (£72+ down to £59.29), mostly favourable reviews and the fact that wearing a white iphone headset makes you that much more vulnerable to theft in South London.....i don't think i'd be able to swallow the price but i value my life and my iPhone.

My HE discount blows everything else but no HE discount on the V-Moda so....
