Need a decent bluetooth keyboard/mouse for macbook!

Kensington Si670m Bluetooth Wireless Optical Notebook Mouse 72271 for PC or Mac

I got it about 3 months ago and I love it. It sells for $30-35 at Amazon.

Logitech diNovo Edge for Mac? not sure about a mouse as Logitech's only bluetooth mouse is notebook sized and doesnt match the diNovo. theres a good bluetooth mice review for Macs though on MacRumors .

^ oo nice i didnt see that. the only downside to that keyboard is it has a Windows keyboard layout. still works but you have alt instead of command and winkey instead of option and youd only get brightness keys (F14 & F15)… no volume and exposé as theres no Mac drivers.

any keyboard should work. apart from the windows key youll also probably not be able to use the specialised functions of the Apple keyboards. but if you dont care about that simple typing should work fine.

although im not 100% sure that the Dell Bluetooth keyboard will connect using OS X's Bluetooth Setup Assistant. if youre not game you could get the older style Apple Bluetooth Keyboard here.

Not sure if you're asking if it will work with OSX regardless of specs, but overview and tech specs both indicate this is only for windows vista. Also, the reviews indicate this is not a top quality product.

Just a post to warn you for the Radtech mice. I had a BT500 minimouse, and it sucked big time. It constantly disconnected when I left it for only half a minute, after which it took up to three seconds for it to become responsive again. Really frustrating. If the full size BT600 is anything like the BT500, steer clear from it. After the Radtech I had a wireless Mighty Mouse. Worked like a charm, but it broke after only one year's use. Way too soon. It's okay, but definitely not worth-it's-money-okay. Good thing I got it as a present. My previous mouse was the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000. It's okay. Really okay, actually. Well, it's even pretty good, really. The only downside to it is that it can take a while to establish the bluetooth connection.

Finally, I thought to myself "Why, exactly, did I want a wireless mouse with my iMac? The iMac doesn't leave the desk, so why should the mouse?" Therefore, my current mouse is the standard wired Mighty Mouse I got with the iMac. It's perfect. I don't know about bluetooth mice. My experience with them has been far from stellar. Although I will probably buy a white Logitech V470 to go with my soon-to-be-announced MacBook. Maybe Logitech does bluetooth right; I'll just have to wait and see.

EDIT: I just searched for the BT500 and found out that I actually had the Bluetake model. Looks exactly the same as the one from Radtech. No clue as to wether the Bluetech is actually another mouse or indeed the same. If it's a cheap copy, that might be the explanation of why it was such a bad mouse. Any ideas?

This m9270ll/a is what I'm about to buy from a friend of mine for my recently-purchased-from-Craigslist 1.83ghz Mac Mini C2D. I did a search for it on here and saw that it had some nice remarks in the MBP Mouse and Keyboard.. thread and the Non-aluminum wireless keyboard thread also.

Now I need to figure out what to do about a mouse. I suppose I would like for it to match w/ my Mac Mini and Apple M9270LL/A Wireless Keyboard, but at the same time, the monitor I'm going to be using is a Dell 2408WFP.

Any model number for this? maybe this is the route I'll go. I don't necessarily need a wired mouse.

Any chance to buy this mouse alone? I'll see if a local best buy has it so I can check it out (though it has been a long time since your post)

I just tried a Dell bluetooth keyboard (GM952) which worked but once you get away from the standard QWERTY keys you risk things not working. I use the HOME and END keys quite a bit so these not working on the MacBook is a big problem. So I'm off to finding an older Apple bluetooth full-size keyboard. It's a shame their new aluminum keyboard is so small. They really should offer the full keyboard (arrow keys and keypad). Oh well.

Rocketfish BT KB & Mouse

I have the Rocketfish (BestBuy) bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Click the links if you want to see them - less than $100 for both (I got mine from eBay for $25 and $20, respectively). The keyboard IS silver/aluminum, even though it looks grey in the picture. The mouse looks a lot like a mighty mouse, but with a scroll wheel. The quality isn't as good as the Apple ones, but its above most cheaper Logitech, etc. I've used.
