somebody fancy posting a custom 2.2 firmware for the 1st gen iphone.

I need, activation, jaibrake, unlock, and cydia. No custom logos please.

Is everyone with a jailbroken 2.1 doing a full restore in itunes before running quickpwn or can you just run quickpwn without doing anything in itunes? Thanks
 
I had 2.1 JB.

I just clicked "update" in iTunes. It updated the device and kept all my settings.

I am now running Quickpwn, went fine.

One 2.2 JB iPhone 😀

Remember...only applies to the iPhone 3G. Quickpwn doesn't prevent the baseband update.

I restored and used Quickpwn on my iPhone 2G just so that I would have a fresh install.
 
I guess it's been a while since I JB...memory is fuzzy...right now I have a 3G JB 2.1

Do I just upgrade to 2.2 in iTunes, run quickpwn and that's it?

Read their website...

If software unlock is important to you, don't use quickpwn.
 
if i restore back to 2.1 can i use pwnage tool and still have the possibility for a sot unlock?

i havent jb'd my iphone before
