"Confidence is a preference for the habitual voyeur of what is known as... Parklife!"

It's getting to be that time again! The MacRumors London Picnic has been an annual event since 2006. Everyone who would like to join us for some food, drinks, music and chilling out in the park is more than welcome.

When: ~ 1pm till dusk - Saturday, 3 July, 2010

Where: Just about here, in Hyde Park.

(here is a PDF of last year's flyer which has helpful location info. Never mind the date though.)

What to bring
Food, drink, iPod, your shades, a blanket or something to sit on, frisbee, football and anything else suitable (and maybe unsuitable) for a picnic that you'd like to bring.

If the weather is uncooperative for picnic purposes...

Plan B:

The Tyburn (JD Wetherspoons)
18-20 Edgware Road
W2 2EN
(map)

But we'll worry about the weather closer to the time. We plan early because many people come in from out of town and even out of the country. It's just that fun!

Hope to see you there!

I've created a public twitter account for all picnic related updates and information:

Because it's public anyone can view it so you need not worry if you're not a twitter sort. However, this is where current information and updates will be posted on picnic day.

Now that's just unfair, bribing with chocolate cake! :D

I loves me some cake but I loves me some Scotsmen in kilts too! Dilemma!

Maybe he could make the cake in the shape of what you'd see under a Scotemen's kilt???

*checks airfare*

I love you guys but I'm not spending $1500 to go over there :p

I while ago I saw airfare to England going for under $500. Keep checking, shop around.

All the same, I'd love to be there. Is volleyball played much across the pond?

Deal! Make it happen, Robbie. :D

Robbie, the ball balls? is in your court. Might want to add a bit more yeast, just sayin'. :p

The cake will be circular (ball shaped I suppose). As that's the shape of the tin I have and it works well.

I should point out that when I say cake there is no flour involved. Just chocolate, cream, sugar and raspberrys. Most people only manage thin slices as it's super-rich...
