Ooh la la.

I would love too come, but I'm not active enough in the forums to feel comfortable :|

Ah, don't let that stop you. Just bring a few snacks and drinks of your choice and join right in. It's always a pretty friendly atmosphere.

If it makes you [or anyone else] feel better, for how much I blab on the internet I can actually be a little apprehensive/shy with people but I always find making the effort to be worthwhile. :)

I'm very tempted. If I could drive then I would definitely be coming but I will have to check the train prices nearer the time.

So what happens if England plays on the day of the picnic? What if it plays Portugal on the day of the picnic???:eek:
Both could potentially play on that day, however England and Portugal can't meet until the semi-finals at least. Assuming both make it that far, the match would take place on either the 6th or 7th of July.

As for the day of the picnic itself, there could potentially be an England quarter-final at 3pm and/or a Portugal quarter-final at 7.30pm. If Portugal play, we will provide you alcohol to enjoy while the match takes place, if England play you can console us when we're eliminated on penalties. Again.

Sounds fair. :)

BTW, no one commented on me baking a pie for the picnic... :(

Could this affect the picnic? www.wirelessfestival.co.uk
Well, Snoop Dogg would make a nice addition to the picnic... :p

To be more serious: The festival will probably be at the open field to the east of the picnic spot, but the question is how far out they place the fence... and - even in the best case where we can stay just outside the perimeter - if the toilets will be inside the festival area...

Should we work out a plan B (or plan C if the pub is plan B) or stick to the original plan, and meet up as close to the original spot as we possibly can get to?
