$0.00 balance? 8/08 bill

Umm so yeah i checked my bill using the iPhone build in feature and ATT sent me a text message. It said my balance is $0.00 due on 8/08?

Can anyone help me clear this up xD? Wheres my bill.
 
So when is your bill normally due?

It will show a $0.00 dollar balance until your billing cycle ends. There's no way for AT&T to figure out how much you owe until the billing cycle is complete.

My cycle is suppose to end on the 8/08 so wheres my bill? Why is my balance 0?
 
Give it some time...if they just finished the cycle yesterday it'll take some time for it to show up on the site.
 
I don't think I explained this very well...

If I text AT&T for my balance right now it will say $0.00 dollars due on 08/04/08 (My due date for my July bill). Because my billing cycle doesn't end until the middle of the month. On 08/15/08 it will say my balance is around $200 and that it's due on 09/04/08 or something close to that.

Sorry if I'm not explaining it well... 😱

This happened on my text balance thing, its because your bill is being compiled, you will get a email from at&t saying your bill is due today at some point. This applies to o2 but I assume its the same as att as it sounds the same situation. You have the same bill date as me.

Well that's probably why. You will get the get charged for this prorated billing cycle next billing cycle. That's how AT&T does it.

then how come I've already paid my July 16 to aug 16 bill and today is aug 9?

Yes it started on July 8th. So since you bought the phone on the 30th, you are in the middle of the prorated billing cycle.

The next cycle: August 8th to September 8th will include the July 30-August 8 fees.

It is just telling you that you owe $0 on 8/08. When your cycle actually ends it will show a balance. Since you bought the phone on 7/30 your cycle will end around 8/30

My prorated is over, that was the 8 days(july 30 - august 8), now my monthly cycle starts at august 9. It will end next month but don't they bill you at the start of the month? So shouldn't my bill show up 😕

What people are trying to tell you is that it's not instantly on the website. There is a bit of a processing delay between the time the cycle closes to when the bill is ready. Today is the 10th, only 2 days after your bill cycle closed. I'm betting that you see a balance due show up within the next 2 days.
 
Yeah so its' been like a week+ now and it still says the same thing. I didn't get my bill in the mail or anything yet, what's up with that?
 
Since you prepay for next months service, you bill, due September 9 will include July 30 through September 9's service. So expect at least a $100 bill for August, the one day in July, activation and September 1-8.

Well technically it should be the July 30-August 8th for the prorated but
i don't understand why hasn't my bill showed up yet? I hear you get billed at the beginning of the month, i understand that my bill is due september 9 but... shouldn't they already billed me?

It took like 7-10 days for me to get my bill after the end of my first billing cycle. I think it just takes a while.
 
I will have a similar thing when my bill arrives. AT&T's computers weren't able to process the subsidy when I purchased the iPhone, so they told us that they would make up for the subsidy by taking the extra $200 they charged us for the phone and apply it to the bill. This may be just my unique case, but it's a thought. 🙂
