Both my stores were sold out of both the morning and afternoon shipments.. One said they might get another shipment tomorrow though so I might have to go check it out.

I was there this morning at 6:45 and called twice since them!....
They are a bunch of monkeys with AT&T shirtsif it would be a shortage across the board I would be just fine, but here there are hundres and hundres of people across the nation getting their phone as walk-ins while my pre-order it is not here and they have no information, estimated, tracking, idea or interest on when would arrive. I just think it is really unfair and upsetting, bitching in a forum won't make it come any faster but i need to drain somehow before I start punching everyone around me
ITA! I've called 2 AT&T stores and 2 Best Buys today and all said they are sold out and have no idea when they are getting more in.
The one near me, which is located right next to tampa,FL, in Brandon...had quite a few. The line started at 7AM this morning. I left and went home, cause there were 50+ people in line and I'd already purchased one from apple on the 24th and didn't want to wait in another long line. I called the store at 10AM and they still had some in stock and no more line. I went in, had a few people in front of me and walked out with two more, 16GB iPhone 4's, one for my wife and one for eBay.
I'd have to imagine that they had a couple hundred phones at least, to start with today.

I went to an AT&T store in Liberty, MO over lunch (just north of Kansas City, MO) and picked up a 32g!. Took about 20 minutes. The clerk said they got about 50 in this morning which were all gone and they were working through the second batch they had just received.

I got off work at 12:00 PM got to the store there was a line of about 5 people outside. Inside was busy. I was inside within 10 minutes. And got a 32 GB iPhone 4 no problem!

Around 9 am Pacific time I started calling the AT&T stores around where I live (Northwest suburb of L.A.). Nobody had any phones left, so I called all the Best Buys, Radio Shacks and Wal-Marts. Nada.
Then I got the idea to call a AT&T store about 30 minutes north of me because it's in a smaller town that's kind of "off the map." Amazingly they said they might have some around 11 but couldn't promise anything.
Sooo, I took the gamble and drove up there. Amazingly I got one of the very last 32gb's. Right after I showed up around 15 people lined up behind me and I don't think there were any left. Finally got lucky! Amazed AT&T actually came through for a change.

My store had some amount this morning, I went in a 10:30 and they allowed me to reserve one on the afternoon truck. I was given a paper reserve receipt and got a call at 3 stating that my phone had arrived.
Most stores here in wichita had an initial stock and received more later also but now are all sold out. Most att stores must be getting hammered w/calls b/c its rare that anyone answers. it says 7-10 days online so I ordered it. If I can find one this weekend I can cancel, and if not hopefully i'll have it by next weekend.
