Hopefully "Santa" (being me :() will find somewhere in his ever-tight budget to purchase a white Canon lens with a red ring on it.

Mmmm.... I like that. So here's mine.

Canon EOS 5D or 1 Series
L Lenses
iPod Touch 16GB
HTC Touch with $7/month unlimited data

The one item on my list is Car insurance. I'll even pay for it myself, but due to having to pay a big amount at one time, I'm not able to purchase it initially (Not to mention that it's 6 thousand bucks a year for me and they want 1500 for 3 months)

Why? Have you got one? I'd rather it was Blue Velvet, of course. ;)

If there's any movie I will be catching up on while putting my feet up over Xmas, it will be Inland Empire.

Inland Empire is on my list. But, come Xmas day, I believe I'll be enjoying my copy of the final cut of Blade Runner, which I believe Santa is bringing me. :D

there's nothing on my list as in things, but i'm hoping the family can finally do the family room right, because it's a bit outdated. hoping also to find a good dvr type converter to finally get weeks of vcr on an external hard drive, as some of the older ones are starting to deteriorate (i'm talking about 20 years of backdating).

but i would like a few extra bucks for myself, that's always nice. and a desk chair, since i've been pretty much chairless for about two years.

I love nike clothes... I want me some nike clothes.

My mom came back from the store for a NIKE+iPod for me, as a nice early gift.. :)

We take a car trip for Thanksgiving, so my parents got me a 16GB iPod Touch a few days ago as an early gift. I'm hoping for cash from relatives and stuff, and I'm paying them back half. Then with any leftover money I want Guitar Hero III & Super Mario Galaxy, and maybe a case for the iPod.

Edit: And how could I forget: Leopard... :)

I really, truly and honestly would like to just be left alone. Christmas is not a happy time for me, and hasn't been since I was a kid.

But just like everyone else, I'll never get what I really want (ha!) I don't understand the whole glamorous idea of getting people into "the Christmas spirit" when they don't want to be. It's not cool or festive to badger someone about a holiday, it's annoying!

In the spirit of Christmas, though, I don't really want anyone else to have an unhappy time. So every year I show up with a smile and put on a Christmas face, bake some cookies and get along with everyone. I do it for my folks.

So this year, remember your family curmudgeon. He's giving you the biggest Christmas gift of all -- not filling your stocking with razors and your eggnog with arsenic. So give him a big ol' Christmas "I'm going to sit in the corner and behave" and for pity's sake, let him sleep in the E-Z chair.

Or I'll find you and cut you.

I usually don't get birthday or X-mas gifts because I live so far away from family. :( My parents expect me to just buy something for myself, and usually, I don't. Instead of buying a gift, I buy what I want throughout the year (within reason), and this year, I've already been to Japan in August to see my girlfriend. Yes, a long-distance relationship. I guess that was my birthday present.

For Xmas, I'm getting what I got for my last Christmas and my last birthday.....a trip to Japan. :) The ticket was only around $850-900 USD round trip, including all taxes. I worked and earned around $3000 for my trips, so I guess I paid for the last trip myself, and along with this coming trip. Do they count as a gift?

Again, I never really get a Christmas gift. I guess I bought some clothes for my birthday with my mum's money.

This year, however, I am going to get myself a gift:

- Nikon D300 DSLR
- an SB-400 flash
- Nikon 55-200 mm VR lens. Holy crapcakes it's going to be a good Christmas!!!
- getting away with collecting the tax money back when I leave the country.

But each year, the biggest present is being able to see my girlfriend. :) My only wish is to spend time with my girlfriend, and to get my new D300 before my trip!! I'd be crushed if I didn't get my camera before leaving for Japan.

Wow, I like the green one.
