Well my 07 2.2ghz 500bg 2gb ram intel Core 2 Duo MBP has been running perfectly fine until recently. Its Running snow leopard and the latest version of Safari, I recently had my computer on an airplane over thanksgiving. When i get back my computer is acting all weird, it freezes sometimes and when move my cursor to top right where i have my all windows set, nothing happens and it flickers after a few seconds. I took a video to show whats happening at :16 seconds. It seems to be happening more and more frequently. My battery is BAD i haven't had the chance to replace this POS battery they put in these things. Im honestly thinking about buying a new 13" air to replace this computer as well in the spring time when business picks back up.

Any insight on wtf is going on? Thanks in advance

This isnt the original hard drive it was originally a 120gb. So it was replaced within the last year.

Logic board? you really think so? My graphics card is one that falls under the class action lawsuit in progress. Think that could be the case? the computer does and always has... The computer turns on when its asleep and shut as soon as I plug the charger into the computer

I have had that issue (4 time on the same computer). Most probably your video card (NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT), is dying, or the connection to the screen from the logic board. Ask on any apple store as they have a repair program for this videocard.

Does it work after the flicker? It's hard to tell from your video but I'm assuming it's locking up which could indicate something processing is not right but if your mouse moves after the flicker, it sounds like the video card is cutting in and out and it's resetting after the flicker.

it stays frozen, i have to turn the computer off manually and it turns back on flawlessly. it seems to happen when im web browsing with multiple tabs open, watching a tv episode streaming online, listening to music and thats it. It seems like the graphics card finally may be on its way out (theyre known to be faulty)

I hope thats not the case.
