1.0.2 upgrade question

Newbie here ! Could anyone advise me please of the best way to upgrade mine to the latest version, I bought an unlocked iPhone from the US & do not know which unlock method was used, I'm using it on vodafone uk but would like to update. The phone details are:

Firmware : 1.0.2 (1C28)
Model : MA712
IMEI : 01130.......
Modem Firmware : 03.14.08_G

i had a 1.0.2 refurb i updated to 1.1.4 and unlocked/jailbroke with ziphone - got some help over here with some good instruction that you might find helpful...
