"1.1.3 soft upgrade" in installer

has anyone followed these instructions in the "more info" tab and done this successfully?

I did it last night, I wrote a live blog while upgrading, it can be seen at the site in my signature...

I did end up downgrading this morning back to 1.1.1 and updating to 1.1.2 (jailbroken of course)

How can you upgrade to 1.1.2 without iTunes?
