I have been using it since last October on AT&T without an issue.

I appreciate the replys regarding wifi calling however I just tried enabling wifi calling to give it a try and it returns an error saying my account type does not support the feature so there's that.
Is your account postpaid? I received the same message when trying to enable NymberSync, AT&T said it was an issue on their end and support fixed within a couple of minutes.

I am using prepaid on AT&T with automatic monthly refill and I'm paying much less than I would pay with a contract with the carrier this way, I don't mind not having the wifi calling feature I guess they don't offer than for their prepaid customers

Unfortunately, it isn't available for prepaid. I would switch to Cricket in a heartbeat if they did.

Would cricket work with my iPhone 7 plus AT&T gsm version or is my iPhone 7 plus locked to AT&T?

Cricket is owned by AT&T and uses their network. I have seen people claim to use a locked AT&T iPhone on Cricket, not sure though.

How much is cricket's monthly payment for an IPhone plan?

so i have the iPhone 7 plus, in my apartment in NYC i usually have 1 bar displayed at the top which indicates the LTE signal strength, Now, i just disabled LTE and my iPhone 7 Plus now displays 4G at the top instead of LTE and my signal strength in my apartment is now 4 bars, Does this mean i'm going to have better overall battery life? the Signal strength with LTE was also about 2-3 bars at work during the day so not the greatest, its now about 4 bars at work as well,

If my understanding is correct, when LTE has to work extra hard such as when it only has 1 bar of reception, it drains the battery quicker because it uses more power right?
[doublepost=1537017854][/doublepost]I had the same problem with my new iPhone 7. I was getting around 7 hours battery life with regular use in my brick Victorian apartment in a small town in a West Virginia. While on LTE 4g AT&T I was getting 1 to 2 bars signal strength. The cell phone tower was approximately a half mile away from my apartment. After trying everything to save battery life, turn off push notifications, brightness, power save, just about everything you could do to lessen battery drain and was still getting no more than 8 hours of use. I read where two different cellular chips were in iPhone 7s, Qualcomm and intel. The intel chip was not very good with 4g LTE. I then switched my iPhone to NOT use LTE data while at home or on Wi-Fi. The difference is now 4 bars of signal strength and I can use my iPhone 7 for 14 hours with needing a charge. What a difference!
