When I upgrade firmware on my 1,1 to 2,1 it only shows a single CPU in the system, it's fixed if I downgrade again; what's the issue here?

Almost 2 years ago I followed this guide
Both was working after the first reboot but was not recognised by the OS X.
I upgraded the firmware after the installation of the CPUs and everything was appeared OK.

Make sure you did all the steps on this 2 parts guide. If you did and you still got 1 CPU off, maybe it's no good and better to return it.
