Yes... But please, please, please search the forum. Since the first jailbreak last fall this has been posted hundreds, possibly thousands of times. You can always restore to factory settings if there's a problem. Also, don't start multiple threads on the same thing.

No. I jailbroke it the day I got it (my friend showed me how) on 1.1.2FW and im still on it with no problems so far.

If anything, my calc icon did disappear.

It's hardly worth it though. The vast majority of the programs are totally useless junk. There are some neat little diversion type games and you can customize the look of the iPod. But unless you're a 15 year old obsessed with everything unique and koolz, you probably won't find much.

    think about it

:apple:a lot of crap such as psx, nes ,snes, and gba emulaters, ssh clients, custom themes, disk-space-free'ers, ebooks, anysim if you want t-mobile, vnc, SO MUCH. you can get whatever you want if you know the repo adress for it.

I kinda agree with this. I have used Ziphone a couple times now and always end up going back to stock. There was nothing that changed the way I used the iPod.

BUT, I'm hijacking the thread. Ziphone is really easy and only takes a couple minutes. Seems perfectly harmless and I've gone back to 114 firmware several times now with no problems.
