Sounds like you've already sold yourself on the bigger display then.Screen space is important but I find having 2 screens some what distracting to if that makes sense.
Currently use a 14" Macbook Pro open in the middle and the 2 ASDs above it.
It is. You can make the pain less by getting a vesa arm and the vesa adapter (maybe even buy that used or off ebay or something). If you ahve to have a desk stand, there are vesa compatible ones for like $50 that should hold it ok. It just won't look as pretty as the $1000 stand lol.Hard sell at the price but just reaching out to see if anyone had been in the same situation.
Any rumors surrounding this?I wouldn't be surprised if Apple releases an 8k XDR soon though. It looks like all their recent Macs have entered the 8k space, and it's been 4 years since the XDR was released.
That would have to be like 42" to stay at the normal retina pixel density. Or macOS finally becomes resolution independent. I'm sceptical.I wouldn't be surprised if Apple releases an 8k XDR soon though. It looks like all their recent Macs have entered the 8k space, and it's been 4 years since the XDR was released.
Reasoning?I recommend sticking to 2 studio displays against going to one XDR
Which one? And also, no one knows. When do you guys think Apple will be updating/replacing this display?
