I have been experiencing pretty dramatic battery drain issues on my iPad Air 2 after updating to 10.1.1. Examples include:

Dropping 20-40% per hour of use

Battery will suddenly drop, then recover after a hard reboot. For example, % will drop from 64% to 40% in 5 seconds. Hard reset will return it back to 64%.

I have been researching as much as I can and have found numerous posts over in the Apple Discussions regarding the issue, but most are iPhone related. There also hasn't been a posted fix.

I was considering trying the 10.2 Beta, but am not sure.

Curious if other iPad users have seen a similar issue...

iOS 10.1 versions and above are all having battery drain bug. Apple needs to do something fast.

WhatsApp background data also eats up battery like crazy. But that applies to iPhones only.
