I upgraded to 10.1 on my iPhone 6 yesterday and ever since, whenever I enter my car and the phone connects via Bluetooth, the car system stops the radio and shows the screen as if I was in a call. But the number shown is my own. Hanging up (on the car controls) has no effect, and I have to navigate to an option called "transfer" to get everything back to normal.

Using Bluetooth on this car had been working flawlessly for the past two years and through all the various iOS versions. It just started acting up now after updating to 10.1. Anyone else is experiencing something like this?

Same issue with me (2013 Toyota Camry), iPhone 6s. Bluetooth in my car was perfect before 10.1. Now it frequently connects and disconnects. Phone calls get stuck when trying to end call. It's like to fix the iPhone 7 bluetooth issues- it broke older devices.

If they can't fix it moving forward- then I'll be trying for a refund because I would not have bothered keeping the phone in the first place (purchased March 2016), if hands free calling wasn't working. They can't just change firmware and say it's a car manufacturer problem- it's a fooked response, and a possible sign that backwards compatibility doesn't matter for several month old ios devices.

I'm hoping they can fix this. As a 1st time iPhone owner- I enjoyed the device otherwise.

It's a widespread problem with 10.1. I am experiencing the issue with my Kinivo BT adapter in my car. Random cutouts that requires cycling the BT radio to get it to work again...sometimes needing to restart entirely.

I am issues with my iPhone 7+ sometimes (but not always) not connecting to my 2011 Honda CR V. This car only has hands free phone and does not stream music. Also had an issue trying to pair a JBL Clip 2 portable speaker to my iPad Air 2 this weekend. Also was using my iPhone 7+ with a Logitech X100 portable speaker this weekend and the connection was horrible music was constantly stuttering and cutting out. Hope this gets fixed soon as this is a serious issue. I think this may be the reason why the airpods are being delayed.

I have a 2015 Acura TLX with Technology Package, and bluetooth is acting strange as well. for example WhatsApp audio messages can only be heard when I'm using bluetooth as audio source on the cars head unit. before iOS 10 WhatsApp audio messages used to work, the voice message were sent to the car audio as if they were a call, and I could listen to them without having to be on bluetooth as audio source.

I had this exact problem and it happened every time. Since updating yesterday to 10.1.1 the problem has disappeared. I also drive a Honda Accord (2013).

10.1.2 has fixed the problem with intermittent connection to my 2011 Honda CR V's handsfree bluetooth.
