10.10.2 PC Video Card White Screen only

I have cMP running 10.10.2
Removed the GT120 adapter and installed a PC nVidia GT 640.

After about 30 seconds I see gray screen with a black mouse cursor only. No login screen.

Installed the PC nVidia GT 640 in slot 2.
Moved my Apricorn Velocity into slot 1.

I'm typing this on the cMP.

Why aren't you using 10.10.5? Are you using the NVIDIA web drivers? Are you sure you have them enabled?

I will move to 10.10.5,
I need to make the time to make a 10.10.2 on a USB drive and two copies of my two iPhoto libraries.

That's what's holding me back.

Have not downloaded any drivers.
Put the card in slot 2 and it came right up to login screen.
