I have an airport extreme router in a new building which is connected to a network running through a property where 3 other buildings are connected. The primary router (a Lynksys) is in the main building which assigns IP addresses 10.100.1.1 through 10.100.150

I am trying to get my airport extreme to see this network. I am connected to the internet and can send emails ect, but cannot see other computers on the network. The choices when I use the airport admin utility don't include 10.100

Can I set this up? Is going from a router which assigns IP addresses to the airport extreme unit possible? How do I do it?

Turn off NAT/DHCP in your AirPort. Using NAT/DHCP puts you on a different subnet (with different IP addresses) and you cannot see outside the subnet. You could customize your Subnet, but that is much more difficult.
