Hi,

I just updated to 10.13.5 but in the Preferences of Messages I don't get the tick box to enable Messages on iCloud...

Anyone else having this issue?

I've already enabled it on my iPhone btw.

Cheers,
Pascal

Did you look in messages preferences and click on accounts?

Look here for more detail.

You could try the 10.13.6 beta and see if it shows up. I am running 10.13.6 beta and not having any issues. ....

How would I reapply the updater? Honestly, I'm not comfortable installing a beta soon my productive machine.

For what it is worth I just installed 10.13.5 on another machine and iCloud support was there for messages. I assume you tried to sign out of iCloud and back in as well a restart on your machine.

Your best bet is to make a call to apple support. They should be able to help.
[doublepost=1528213120][/doublepost]I found this article. It may be what you need.. However, I don't have iCloud Keychain turned on and iCloud messages work for me....

Yes, I don't have iCloud Keychain as well so I guess my best bet is to contact Support. Thanks!

That on the other, I have turned on.

Btw. I contacted support and they needed to escalate this to engineering and will get back to me soon. I'll update.

Alright, I have Messages on iCloud now. The engineers said that the iCloud Keychain has to be turned on.
