Updated to mac os 10.13.5 last night and now screen icons for Quicktime are not displaying properly. Video thumbnail is not showing and the play button on audio files is missing. Both play fine when double clicked and QT opens ok. Jpeg and Logic files display icons properly its just QT that is failing.

A ny one else have this issue and is there a work around for it, or just wait for a QT update to catch up with Sierra?

Having the same issue but not just with Quicktime files, anything that loads in Preview is giving me the same problem.

If I choose 'get info' from the menu, change privilege, the icon displays properly but only for that file.
[doublepost=1527941473][/doublepost]Ok, I seem to have stumbled on a work around for my issue. If I right click the desktop and choose view options, then de-select show icon preview, then re-select it, all icons are back to normal and displaying properly.
