10.14.6 and 10.15.1 update errors

Just got a new MBP 13” it has 10.14.5 Mojave out of the box. Checked for updates and it shows Catalina 10.15.1 but has 10.14.6 as another update available. Tried them both and I get errors and to try again. Tried multiple times and nothing still the same error. I left the “Install updates automatically“ checked and put the device to sleep. Will it update on its own and what can I do to get it to update? Thanks

What kind of errors? Connection error? Be specific.

Download errors. Would not complete. Just opened the lid this morning and appears 10.14.6 is downloading fine now. Catalina next...

Okay. But make sure you really want to install Catalina and that all your apps are going to work with the new OS. Catalina will kill all your 32 bit apps.
