hi,

Hard to tell after just one day on 10.2, but after just 6 hours of usage I'm down to 10% on my 7plus.
It never emptied this fast before. Anybody else experiencing this? Suggestions?

Afaik it's like that ever time a major update. If u want do it right reset your phone to factory and set it back up without restoring. That will fix anything

I actually was able to fix a problem with my battery on my iPad recently by resetting it and doing a backup restore via iTunes. Would have never expected it to work but it did! I think I'll do the same with my phone. Only issue I have is that backups don't remember what music is supposed to be stored locally and which isn't with Apple Music. So annoying..

Not happening here. I've been playing Pandora through Bluetooth all day, over 6 hours now, and it's down to 87%. 7 Plus.

Best to give it at least a few days and a few charging cycles before really seeing if there's anything noticeable one way or another.

I've had no real issues with battery life in iOS 10.2 so far.

There was one beta build (PB 3, I think) where it drained quite quickly on iPhone/iPod Touch but seems alright so far.

I've had a similar noticeable difference in battery performance since installing 10.2 on my 6s plus.

Whereas before I could go a whole day and rarely go below 40%, suddenly I'm having to recharge during the afternoon to keep the phone in operation!

Possibly the phone's doing some internal rejigging/indexing post-install which is sucking battery, but I installed 10.2 over 3 days ago and performance is still poor!

This. My battery life always seems to settle back into a normal routine after a few days following major updates. Give it some time.

Not checking the stats but everyday usage its the same or slightly better on my 6s plus. All and all it's a nice update.
