Software update just notified me that 10.3.5 is available.

Yay!

Edit: Added the below so people can read it that might be curious and not have their Mac with them:

The 10.3.5 Update delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability for Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" and is recommended for all users.

Key enhancements include:
improved support for NTFS formatted volumes
improves reliability for user logins and mounting of home directories in a networked environment
updated ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers
improved Bluetooth compatibility for Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse and Bluetooth phones
additional FireWire and USB device compatibility
improved font management
updated Mail and Image Capture applications
improved compatibility for third party applications
previous standalone security updates

Installing it now. If I don't post back within 5-10 minutes, well... wait to install it. ;)

I'm still "optimizing"... fortunately I have a Windows maching (did I just say that?!) so if my OS X box goes down I have a backup... :)

I'm trying to XBench each version on my machine... granted I only started on 10.3.4... but you have to start somewhere right?

Also iPhoto 2.0.1, apparently it now has AAC support and that ever-important update feature. I don't actually use iPhoto, but there it is.

Same here. Hm, also an iPhoto Update 2.0.1 showed up as well for those of us not using v4, I guess. Let's hope these updates are a bit more stable.

Time to XBench. My iBook is still alive at least.

Well, I haven't seen any improvements (yet) but I can verify that my G5 rebooted and all seems well. I'll look into the changes now... as my iMac is loading the update.

So why does it say "Build 7M34" instead of 10.3.5?

I thought it was hovering around 40mb? Software update says its only 22. Did something get chopped out for a later release?

It says both. You click on the 10.3.5 and it changes to the build.

Ooo. And then the Serial Number. Thanks for the tip.
