ever since i upgraded to 10.3.7 i cant connect to many sites

i get a safari cant connect.. message
i also can no longer connect with my ftp program.
my pc which is connected to the same router has no problems connecting to the same sites.

Any one know what 10.3.7 could have done to mess up my internet connection problem.

id say dont install the update.. if i were you

Haven't experienced any problems at all.
Have you repaired permissions?
Have you empltied the Safari cache recently?

It sounds a bit like a DNS error. I've installed and the update actually fixed som minor issues I had with DNS lookups, as it should:
Resolves an issue in which Safari, Mail, and other networking applications that use DNS lookups could experience intermittent connectivity issues with Security Update 2004-09-30 and Mac OS X 10.3.5 or later installed.
(from Apple's update page).

It might have done something to your DNS settings... check if you have any ip addresses under DNS Servers in the tcp/ip settings under the appropiate protocol in Network Preferences... check with your isp what you should have there, if anything... I know is't a longshot, but worth a try...
