10.4.8 crashes Shapeshifter

Shapeshifter worked fine in 10.4.7 but now when I apply a theme it says the system preferences quit unexpectedly. What should I do?
 
Wonder why... 🙄

10.4.8 Release notes said:
You may experience unexpected results if you have third-party system software modifications installed, or if you've modified the operating system through other means.
