10.4 Updates on Leopard Server

From looking at our 10.4 server and reading up on it, it seems 10.4 server doesn't download 10.5 Updates for the Software Update service.

Does anyone know if the 10.5 server Software Update service can provide 10.4 specific updates to 10.4 clients?

No, 10.4 updates cannot be served out from SUS running on Leopard server

That's because it IS a bit silly. Do they assume all corporations are going to upgrade all servers and clients at the same time? 🙄

I think they are referring to the reverse. A 10.4 Server serving updates to a 10.5 client.
