10.5.2, Desktop & Screensaver has option to turn off translucent menubar

    In 10.5.2 under system prefs > Desktop & Screensaver there is a checkbox for translucent menubar, that can turn the transparency on and off :)

    Just thought you would all be happy to know.

    Sweet. Though now I've grown used to the translucent menu bar.

    10.5.2 is availble?... My update software doesn't see it.

    Not yet... But it was seeded to Developers already for testing

    Is this update going to smooth the choppy dock animation?

    My interest is peaked by the kernel extensions for G8x/G9x and the RV67x...

    I like the translucent bar honestly, but having the option to switch it off is nice.
