    I heard Feb 15th was the latest date to be released. Is this true, or is it sooner?

    People have been speculating that it would come literally each week since the year started, so nobody knows.

    my sources tell me that apple is ending the development of Mac OS X completely to focus on music and entertainment distribution. 2008 will be the LAST year for Macs.

    I heard the same thing, except that the OS Division is being sold to MS for 50 bucks & a Zune. I heard it in an elevator, so I know it's true.

    This, of course, came with the revelation that 10.5.1 is so perfect that even if Apple worked for a million years they'd never make a better build of an OS. Ever.
