10.5.4 and your average MBP temperature

47 - 50 here.. Got Smcfancontrol... gr8 app.

Although when im playing Wow it shoots up to 60-65

With default fan settings typ around 55 - 60. Bump the fan speeds to 2500 the temp lowers to 50 - 55.

Still can't believe that the MBP gets as hot as it does!!!

I had an interesting observation today. My temps while not plugged in (AC Adapter), are about 5 degrees Celsius lower than when plugged in.

When plugged in CPU is around 53/54, when running on battery, approximately 47/48.

Anyone else care to try?

some of you guys sound like you need a liquid cooled mbp lol...

yeah seriously like some of you guys either live in the desert or clog rags in the vents of your computer, because even in XP (which runs significantly hotter than OS X) I don't get above 48 C unless I'm running a game (which then it doesn't get much above 56-60C)
