So I ran appfresh and an update x11 shows up. I download the update and make an attempt to install it. Low and behold it tells me I can't install it unless I'm running 10.5.7. Then why release an update so soon unless 5.7 is coming very very soon.

Appfresh is a software app that looks in your app folder, not same thing as software update from Apple.
X11 update has been known in the last few days.
