So this kind of confirms the 4 April event with the release of iOS10.3
The beta for 10.3" confirms better refresh rates for future ipads
https://9to5mac.com/2017/03/22/10-5-inch-ipad-with-faster-display-rates/

So i guess tomorrow or Friday we will see the invites send for both ipad pros and probably some macs, like 12" Macbook
[doublepost=1490192105][/doublepost]And just like they did with the design of ipad mini, the new 10.5" design will come for the 12.9" as well, maybe not this year but next year for sure, and i think its perfect since the 12.9" will be more compact and lighter but you benefit from the screen real estate. I think for the 10.5" route is to make a bigger display in the 9.7" dimensions ipad, for the bigger one Apple i think it will be better if they keep the 12.9" but make it more compact and lighter

Is the 10.5 going to be about the same screen size as the 12.9 but without the bezel?

whaat? the 10.5" it will be the same dimensions as 9.7" but with smaller bezels, so not really the same screen size as the 12.9

10.5 ad 12.9 refer to the diagonal screen size in inches. The expectation is the 10.5 will feature the same resolution as the 12.9 but in the smaller screen size i.e. higher PPI. Physically, the 10.5 will take up the same size as the current 9.7 Pro.

Oh ok. Thank you for explaining. :D I hope they make one like that for the larger variant. I was at BestBuy yesterday and I really liked the larger screen.

Oh so they won't have a larger model? That is disappointing. I liked the fact that the interface was a little larger. I don't have the best vision. :(

Yup. That is a legitimate concern. It will have the same PPI as a retina mini so you will have a good idea if the interface will be too small or not.
