10.6.2 and Handbrake not working

Any time I try to hit the start button in handbrake 9.3, it just sits there like the button doesnt do anything.

Ive reinstalled handbrake, and rebooted, nothing still.

Same problem. A dude who helps me with my tech support at public access television said I have to wait for them<handbrake> to create something that will acommodate uploading dvds. I did not try going to the mac store yet,maybe they can help us.
