Apparently, 10.6.3 is ready to hit the streets either tomorrow or sometime today; according to Softpedia (link)

That would be a really nice Valentine's day gift :) ... combined with the mountain of chocolate.

And if it does release today, or tomorrow it bodes well for the MBP releases

Not necessarily. Quite often new hardware just gets a special build of the current version.

I doubt Apple would release anything on Sunday.. Software engineers usually don't work on Sunday (at least not with full force) so... AppleCare also has less people on Sundays so in case of problems there would be 5 hour line for AC.

No it doesn't. There's little to no connections with apple updating osx and hardware updates

No way in hell they will release the update on a Sunday or a federal holiday. Tuesday or Wednesday.

We've known that it's coming soon; I don't see that this article gives any evidence, besides wishful thinking, that it will necessarily be tomorrow.

How did you get that image to post to the Forum?

The image that came from your computer when you attempted to update software like you posted above.

Update or not, Software Update seems a bit intermittent today.
