I am having a problem with the latest software update. I install it and it reboots and I get a grey screen telling me my computer needs restarted, hold the power button down and restart. Ok...fine...but it does it over and over and over and over etc. The only way I was able to fix it last night was to do a time machine restore. I thought maybe it was a fluke and tried to install it again this morning...same thing. I did run disk utility last night and it found some errors and fixed them.

Can anybody tell me what could be wrong and how to fix it? Or do I have to just do another restore? I've read this update is required to install Lion when it is released. HELP!!!! 😱😱😱😱

Edit: Ok, I did a disk repair, now it gives me this at boot up:

It boots up in safe mode.

Fixed!

Ok, never mind. Apparently it was third party software causing the issue. I have Hands Off! installed and after updating that, everything works as normal.
