Hi. I just found what I believe is a 10.6.8 bug. I think I have this bug since I updated to 10.6.8. On system preferences, on the mouse panel, I usually have the mouse movement option set to the fastest possible, but now every time I reboot my iMac this option does not stay saved and when the system starts again this option is set to two steps slower. I cant get the option to keep saved at the fastest.

Does anyone else experience this problem or is it just me? I just sent an email to apple bug report to see if they can fix this in 10.6.9.

I don't think there will be a 10.6.9. If there is, all it'll do is add iCloud support. As of July 20th, Snow Leopard won't be getting bug fixes anymore. Only security updates.

Have you repaired permissions yet?

I tried but nothing happened. The bug is still there. Its quite annoying since every time I log into my imac I have to go to system preferences and select over and over again the max speed possible.

Am I the only one who suffers this bug? I dont know if its a general bug or if its just me. Can anyone try?
